Calla in Bargello style, by Judy Ann Johnson, Scappoose, OR
This quilt was honored with an award by one of the challenge's judges.
I love watching the earth become "all anew" each spring as flowers and trees burst with new life. What a marvelous way for God to show us that everything can be made new again no matter how dark and dreary it may look. I was inspired by "open heart bargello-style" to create a flower version.
